AI holds incredible potential for the travel and tourism industry, from personalized itineraries to overcoming language barriers. 66% percent of travelers believe that AI will make travel easier and more efficient. But there is a flip side to this enthusiasm. According to Booking.com’s Global AI Sentiment Report, almost half of surveyed travelers worry that AI could introduce bias that reinforces stereotypes or discrimination. Furthermore, 38% believe that budget travelers may be deprioritized by the technology.
